As you've probably figured out by now, I am very liberal and very opinionated. Therefore, when I am forced to listen to Rush Limbaugh, who is a conservative extremist radio show host, it angers me. so I thought I'd just bash him a little bit to get it off my chest. So, just to let everyone know, he gets his information from the National Inquirer. The newspaper that says Dr. Phil is gonna kill himself and that Oprah had an affair. Both of these stories are not only completely untrue, but ridiculous beyond belief! I guess thats what Rush Limbaugh is too, however

Oil Spill

As you probably know by now, a BP oil rig that was under water exploded, flooding the surrounding sea with oil. The spill is now very close to land and could possibly be carried by the current along the Eastern Seaboard. It has endangered many of the (omg it's 5:55 and 5/5!) species that live in the ocean, including the shrimp we are now not allowed to eat. I, personally, am outraged by this entire situation, not only by the oil, but by how they are trying to deal with it. People are adding more chemicals to the water to break up the oil, which pollutes the water extremely, and some people are trying to burn it! 'We don't want to endanger the land or the fish, so let's set it on fire!' And, recently, another oil rig blew up in San Antonio! i think this is a sign that Mother Earth wants us to STOP USING CRUDE OIL!!!!

'Alice in Wonderland' Movie Review

Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland' is a sequel to the Disney classic we all know and love. In this new movie, Alice is all grown up. She still has her odd ideas and wonderment, however. And when she falls down the hole again, she must defeat the Red Queen and her evil monster, the Jabberwocky, with the help of the Mad Hatter, the March Hair, The Chesure Cat, the White Rabbit, and the White Queen. I absolutely, 1000% LOVED this movie!!! The special effects, the acting, the characters, all of it was fantastic! Every actor played their part perfectly (especially johnny depp <3). I recognized two actors from Harry Potter (can you guess who?) the soundtrack is amazing too. GO SEE THIS MOVIE!

Im Back!

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been gone for so long, but a lot of stuff has been going. Just to give you an update: My birthday was Februray 6th, Spring Break is next week, and I have recently become obsessed with something new.
For my birthday, my best friend Sara and I went to Denver. We ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, which was AMAZING, and stayed the night in a four star hotel. It was tons of fun. I don"t think I will be doing anything for Spring Break, but I'll keep you posted. And my new obsessions name is Mitchell Davis.
Mitchell Davis is a YouTube comedian, and he makes hilarious videos with his friend Kyle, such as Zebra Dancing and Juanita Puanita. I want you to check it out, so I'm not gonna explain it further. His YouTube channel is is called livelavalive. CHECK HIM OUT! You will love it!

Haiti Earthquake

Earlier in the week, Haiti experienced a horrific earthquake that killed tens of thousands of people. People and bodies were pulled from the rubble , and corpses lay rotting it the street. Thousands of people are frantically searching for there loved ones, fearing the worst. Drinking water and food are in short supply. Everything is in ruin. This is a tragedy. If you've watched the news lately, you have seen at least five heart wrenching stories about lost children and family members. It makes me cry just to think about the pain those people must be feeling. Luckily, there is a way to help. I encourage everyone reading this to donate some money the Red Cross so that you can aid the recovery. Every cent counts.

Well, I'm gonna talk about something funny now, because i got myself all sad.

Sarah Palin Hired as Fox News Contributer

No, I'm not joking. This is seriously happening. Well, I guess she's qualified. Flunked out of college five times, likes to shoot at wolves from helicopters, yep, she fits at Fox. Well it's not gonna effect me, since i don't watch Fox News, but its sad how she doesn't even realize that she is just digging herself into a deeper hole. I have lost pretty much all respect i had for her, which isn't much, considering that i had only a small it of respect for her to begin with. You know what? I'm gonna watch this play out and let the jokes write themselves. Be ready for jokes to come.

Movie Review: Avatar

Avatar is about a young ex-marine's, Jake Sully, journey to a far off planet called Pandora, where he becomes an avatar and interacts with the indigenous people of that planet, the Na'vi. He has to persuade them to move away from there home so the humans can mine a valuable substance that is underneath their village. However, Jake is beginning to like being one of the Na'vi. He is in love with one of them and wants to keep their culture safe. However, just because your ten feet tall and blue doesn't mean you can get everything you want. This conflict starts a war between the humans and the Na'vi. Who will win Pandora?

I have two words for this movie : HOLY CRAP! There isn't a word for how utterly amazing this movie was. It wasn't just the special effects, either. This movie had everything anyone could want: romance, comedy, drama, action, and giant blue people! And the special effects! I saw it in 3-D, so everything looked like it was about to touch you, and everything looked so real!! I mean if someone had told me it was actually filmed on a distant planet with actual Na'vi actors, it would have been hard to deny. I can't even do justice to how cool it was! IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS MOVIE YET, BUY A TICKET NOW!! A word of warning however; I had to sit in the second row, and everything made me kind of nauseated until the end. So either get there early and get a good seat, or don't eat before seeing it!
