I should have posted this a long time ago. I saw it the first day it came out, like the Potterhead I am, and I meant to write a reveiw on it some time ago. Oh well.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, like all its predicessors, is my nominee for film of the year (Sorry, Star Trek). My only complaint is that it wasn't as good as the book, but most movies based on books aren't. And this one was pretty dang close. My favorite part was when Ron was in the hospital wing and Hermione was there holding his hand, even though he was dating Lavender and then she storms in.... all just right what the lines were.
LAVENDER: Where is he?!? Were is my Won-Won?! It's okay, Won-Won, I'm here.
HERMIONE: What are you doing here?
LAVENDER: Me? I happen to be his girlfriend! What are you doing here?
HERMIONE: I happen to be his..........friend.
RON: (incoherant mumbling) (ron is unconcious)
LAVENDER: There, see? He senses my presence. What is it Won-Won?
RON: Her...mio....ne. Her......mione...Hermione.
Lavender runs out of the room crying while hermione smiles triumphantly.
Though, I wished the Harry/Ginny kiss would have lasted longer. Overall, the best Potter yet!

San Francisco
Hi!! I'm a hypocrite for not posting for so long(since i'm the one who always rights angry comments on the Federal Berau of Yogurt, saying 'UPDATE YOUR BLOG!!' over and over) but i was in San Francisco for vacation, so i wasn't able to post anything. So here's my newest post.
Enjoy!
Stuff You Should See In San Francisco
Enjoy!
Stuff You Should See In San Francisco
- The Golden Gate Bridge - It's really cool and fun to drive across.
- The Cable Cars - They aren't very comforable, since they pack you like sardines into this little tiny car, but its fun to go up and down hills.
- The Munis - By the way, it's pronounced 'mewnee' not 'mooni' so say it right if you don't want to soud like the tourist you are.
- Fisherman's Wharf - If you like seafood and riding big cruise ships, this will definatly be your favorite part of the trip. If you don't, you probably shouldn't go to San Francisco
- Haite Ashbury - For all of you that don't know, it is basically the center of hippie culture. If your not into this kind of thing, I don't like you anymore (jk...kinda). Why they chose Haite Street to host the Summer of Love, I do not know. BE FORWARNED! This is probably a bad place for children. Lots of weirdies.
- Angel Island - Very historical.
- The Bay Bridge
- Chinatown
- Some protesters or a naked person - you haven't really been in San Fran till you have.
- The Sea Lions- they're soooooooooo cute!!
A FEW WORDS OF WARNING: It is not, contrary to popular belief, warm in San Fran during the summer. When Mark Twain said "The coldest winter I ever spent was summer in San Francisco" he wasn't kidding. It's really foggy, so bring long pants, a jacket, and sneakers.

In The News

I got these stories from the Aol.com homepage.
Possible Homicide In The Micheal Jackson Case
I recently learned that the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) has already started treating Micheal Jackson's death as a homicide case (homicide meaning murder). The prime suspect is none other than his doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray. Evidence has been found that points to the cause of death as an anethesia called Propofol. Personally, I don't think think the doctor had anything to do with it. I think he killed himself. But, hey, what can I do?
Beached Basking Shark
I have also recently become aware of a beached basking shark that was seen earlier in the week in Long Island, New York. It was 20 feet long and had been seen circling in the water just a few minutes before it washed up on shore dead. The cause of the poor creatures death is unknown, since there were no visible injuries, but officials say it likely had some sort of illness. The shark will be examined for cause of death, then burried in the sand dunes of the beach were it was found.
That made me feel like Anne Curry.

Search Overload, Even Bing.com Has It!
By now, unless you don't have cable or don't watch TV, or you just woke up from a coma ( in this case, why are you reading my blog? Go talk to your family, for crying out loud!) you have probably seen the Bing.com commercials where the tagline is 'what has search over load done to us?'. Well, guess what? Bing.com is just like all the rest. I searched 'emma watson with short hair' because I wanted to get my hair cut like that, and it gave me a picture of Jennifer Aniston, a bunch of Emma with her long hair, and some random people with short hair that I didn't even recognize! Thats false advertising! That bothers me. Bing. com needs a new idea for a comercial.
Elitch Gardens
I just went to Elitch Gardens with my cousin a few days ago. I had so much fun! I went on my first rollercoaster that went upside down, the Sidewinder ,while I was there. If you've never been on a rollercoaster that goes upside down, I suggest that you keep your head up, but close your eyes. I put my head down, and my neck still hurts like crazy ( stupid gravity, can go jump off a cliff and die) but I don't regret not being able to see what was happening. I'm such a fraidy-cat, I prabably would have passed out. Oh, and another thing for first-time-upside-downers: SCREAM. As loud as possible. Don't hold back. Seriously, it makes you feel safer.
Till next time, have fun, go nuts, and sleep in ( I know I will!)
(Incase you couldn't tell, I like parentheses)
